Hennaz Art was formed in 2008 by our founder and senior henna artist, Huda Naeem, who decided to follow her passion for henna and transformed it into a business on the ideals of empowerment and inspiration.
We operate our business based on the idea that every woman should feel confident, beautiful, and empowered. At Hennaz Art, we are passionate about creating stories through the art of henna, and we love the work we get to do every day.
Since its inception, Hennaz Art has been providing services to clients, fulfilling their needs for bridal, party, corporate, and community events. We also offer individual sessions at our home studios in the greater Chicago area.
Our Story
Sisters, Huda & Nida, were born in Dubai and spent the early years of their childhood there. As children, they also frequently visited their parents’ home country Pakistan. During this time, they had the opportunity to explore the uniqueness of both cultures and discover a love for Henna, a common celebratory element found in both cultures. Khaleeji (Arabian Gulf) style from Dubai, UAE, and traditional intricate Henna from Karachi, Pakistan.
Huda discovered her passion for henna at age six and thirteen years later launched Hennaz Art. But, the eye for art also runs in the family as Nida embarked on the same journey with Hennaz Art in 2015. As their experience combined with exquisite dual cultures plus a passion for henna, a fabulous creative duo was born.
